Cerise Tean

Cerise is a Dance Movement Psychotherapist registered with the Association of Dance Movement Psychotherapy, UK. Her exposure to and training in contemporary dance inspired her to reach out to the community. Cerise continues to work with and hold space for children, youths and young adults with neurodivergent conditions, as well as adults living with Dementia, Stroke and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Cerise holds a Master of Arts qualification in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from University of Derby, UK, and attained a Dance for Parkinson’s Disease introductory training certification with Mark Morris Dance Group and Inspirees Institute. She is also currently engaged as an external creative practitioner with LASALLE College of the Arts, conducting courses for the general public. Together with Shi Han, she played a role in founding Movemental in 2021.
